Capsicum rice -Radhu's recipe

 Ingredients:

1 tbsp ground nut,  1/2 tsp chana dal, 1/2 tsp urad dal,  1 tsp coriander seeds,  1 tsp white  til, 1/2 tsp jeera,  2 to  3 red chilli.  

1 tsp garam masala powder,  salt to taste,  oil, 1 cup cooked rice or basmati, 2 capsicum, 1/ 2 inch ginger 

Method:

First  dry roast  ground nut till skin peel or nice aroma comes. Then  add c.dal, u.dal, coriander seeds,  w.till, jeera and  red chilli.  Dry roast till nice aroma comes.  Do not  over roast it. Cool and grind to a coarse powder. Keep it aside.

Wash and soak rice for 1/2 an hour. Drain the water and pressure cook with 2 glass of water for 2 whistle. Cool the rice.

Cut capsicum thin and length wise ( I cut into small pieces) and ginger too. In a pan take 2 spoon of oil. Add  mustard seeds and when it splutters  add LG  hing. Then add washed capsicum and slightly cook. Add coarse powder,  garam masala powder and salt. Saute till cooked. Then add cooked rice and mix  well till the mixture is mixed with the rice. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with raita
