This turned out to be an out of the world recipe...So if you try it out,ENJOY!
Ingredients
Channa soaked overnight pressure cooked 3 cups
To Grind:
Red Onions,medium sized 2
Tomatoes medium sized 4
Ginger about an inch
Garlic 3 cloves
Black Pepper 1 tsp
Cumin 2 tsp
Turmeric 2 tsp
To add
Chilli Powder 2 tsp
Garam Masala 3 tsp
Sea salt 2 tsp
Heat oil in a large pan,add 1 tsp mustard seeds
After they splutter,add the ground mixture, the chilli powder, the garam masala and the salt.Bring it to a rolling boil and then let it simmer for 20 minutes or so..Add cilantro and freshly sliced onions for garnish and serve with Rotis,Naan or Rice.
It was pretty good with toasted hamburger buns too..
